December is fast approaching and we know that your minds are turning to finding unique gifts from the Cairngorms for your loved ones.

Gifts for £15 and under
Beautiful art doesn’t have to cost the earth and we have lovely small gifts for a smaller budget. Our Chunky Mugs (£13.50) are a perennial favourite for a reason. Angus’s amazing illustrations depict Scottish wildlife, with a few well-known favourites from the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig. These hold a good cuppa and feel so cosy in your hands.
You can also pick up a pair of Angus Grant Art earrings (starting at £12) – perfect for every day use – or pick up four coasters for £15. Select your favourite designs from the Cairngorm landmarks, Loch Morlich, birds, wildlife, or even macro by Jane (AKA oooyabeastie).
Or you could even save for a special occasion with a Spey Bank Studio piggy bank (£9).
Gifts for £45 and under
Handmade ceramics are a big feature in this price range. Our scented candle pots are always a cheerful gift as Angus tries to match the scent with the glaze – in the studio just now, we have rose in a pink pot, mulled wine in red and seaweed and juniper in turquoise green. Best of all, when you’ve burned out your candle, you can clean out the pot to give a new lease of life as a pen or plant pot.
Colourful glazes are also to be found in range of handmade mugs and cups – all handmade and fired on site at the studio. We’ve even got a small number of ceramic pumpkins left.
Our wide range of prints are a great gift for anyone who is a fan of the Cairngorms National Park. You can find images of the best-known spots in the park on maple and metal (£45 each). We also have a cute set of giclee prints of Angus’s Scottish bothy series, including Ryvoan, Corrour and the Hutchison Memorial Hut (framed, £25).
One of most popular new products this year has been our red squirrel prints. These wee creatures are having the time of their lives paddleboarding, campervanning and surfing. Made using AI, there is one to suit every member of the family. Framed prints are £40 and we also have cards for £3 each or four for £10. These are only available in the shop.
But we are also selling a limited selection of unframed versions online for £35.
Gifts for more than £50
Here, you can find more jewellery by Angus. His bullet jewellery is perfect as a statement piece on a fancy night out. Or Marram Blue has a beautiful range of textures silver jewellery that has a simple elegance.
Our original art starts from £75, with lovely sketches of Grantown beauty spots by Judith MacGregor and framed macro photography by oooyabeastie.
Those with a bigger budget looking for an extra-special present might be tempted by our selection of wonderful artwork, from the ethereal photography of Jess Greaves, the abstract expressionism of Katie Ward or the large scale oils of Campbell Bryson.
